The founders of Lets Race and Lets Golf, the UK's only dedicated Formula 1 and Golf simulator centre in Horley on the borders of Surrey and Sussex, are delighted to announce that they will be opening Lets Explore - a new premium soft play centre for children.
Officially opening on Saturday 21st October with a visit from a special guest - children's favourite, Dora the Explorer - Lets Explore will feature a three storey state-of-the-art adventure filled play zone, a unique mezzanine level with play zone access for private parties, a separate toddler and baby area, and a brand new relaxing café area for parents and guests.
With three distinctly themed zones for littles ones to discover including under the sea, the jungle and space, Lets Explore has been designed to truly unleash the imagination of youngsters. The elements incorporated within the design have been cleverly thought out, not only to encourage physical activity, but to also stimulate the mind with educational aspects throughout. Example features include a submarine and periscope panel, airlock crawl tube, treasure chest with challenge to search for golden coins, and an eye spy live fish action zone to name but a few.
Stuart Duncan has been appointed as the new general manager of the facility. Stuart, a new father himself, has over 15 years' experience in the leisure industry and, prior to joining Lets Explore, ran the well-established Gambado soft play centre in Beckenham.
Stuart commented, "I am very excited to be working with the team at Lets Race and Lets Golf to bring their Lets Explore vision to life. The play centre will be a huge asset to the area and our goal is for it to be a premium destination for all families with young children. We want to be the cleanest, friendliest and most educational soft play centre in the area.
He went on to explain:
"I have worked in the soft play industry for many years now and am all too aware of the challenges that all types of leisure facilities face. Hygiene, for example is one of the big challenges. That's why we have purposely designed and adjusted the soft play frame itself so that it can be easily cleansed after every session and deep cleaned on a more frequent basis. We will also have hygiene stations situated throughout the site. Providing a comfortable environment for adults is another of the bigger challenges. We want to steer clear of squashed, uncomfortable seating areas with basic refreshments and food menus. Lets Explore's building layout, purpose built café and higher end menu has taken all of this into consideration, so I am hopeful that we can offer a more comfortable, enjoyable and tastier experience for adults too. "
Ben Stephenson, Commercial Manager for the Lets Race, Lets Golf and Lets Explore group, added:
"We are thrilled to be branching out into the soft play industry with our newest Lets Explore venture. We had the space on our site in Horley and it seemed the perfect solution to complement our Formula 1 race simulators, golf simulators, and on-site restaurant Blacks Burgers. When Lets Explore opens in October we will be able to offer a one-stop fun, safe and dry leisure destination for every member of the family, no matter what their age."
