These frequently asked questions and answers should help you plan your visit to Lets Explore.
If you still have unanswered questions after looking through this section, please contact our team.
Q. Do I need to supervise my child at Lets Explore?
A. Yes. Children should be supervised at all times. Our play equipment is rigorously safety-tested and built to the highest standards, but - as in any environment - accidents can happen.
Lets Explore staff supervise the play areas at all times and there will always be a first aid trained member of staff on every shift, but we also ask that parents or carers are on hand in the unlikely event of a problem.
Q. What should my child wear?
A. Clothes should be comfortable, ideally tops with long sleeves and long trousers or leggings, as these are most comfortable when using equipment like slides and crawl tubes. Socks must be worn at all times.
If you forget to bring socks, we have pairs for sale.
Q. Do you have a behaviour policy?
A. Yes. To ensure that everyone has a fantastic time at Lets Explore, we ask that children play respectfully.
Please ensure your child only plays in areas that are designated for their age range. We recognise that children will be excited as they explore our soft play equipment, but they should be encouraged to take turns and respect the play rules that are clearly displayed.
If a child is aggressive or repeatedly breaks the rules, a member of our staff will speak to their parent or carer and explain the situation. If, following a warning, the child continues to act unacceptably, the parent or carer will be asked to leave the centre. Any abusive behaviour from an adult will result in a total ban from Lets Explore.
Please contact the Duty Manager if you have any questions regarding our behaviour policy.
Q. What play areas are provided for different age groups?
A. We have designated areas for babies, toddlers and older children.
Each area is packed with stimulating age-appropriate equipment to provide endless fun and opportunities for learning through play.
The areas are clearly separated to ensure comfort and safety for everyone at Lets Explore.
Our friendly staff are on hand to ensure that children do not stray into the wrong areas. But please also supervise your children and explain the importance of playing in the correct zone.
Q. How do you keep your play equipment clean?
A. Hygiene and cleanliness are vitally important to us. We have designed and adjusted all play equipment so that it can be easily cleaned after every session and deep cleaned on a regular basis.
We also have hygiene stations situated throughout the site. If you spot anything that needs cleaning, please alert staff and the situation will be dealt with immediately.
Q. Can we take our own food into Lets Explore?
A. With such a tempting and great-value range of drinks, snacks and light meals at our barista-run café, there's no need to bring your own food.
If you're after something more substantial, Blacks Burgers Restaurant is also on site.
All food* consumed at Lets Explore must be purchased from the cafe and/or Blacks Burgers and must be eaten at the café or restaurant tables, and cannot be taken into the play zones.
*There is an exception for baby food. You're welcome to bring your own baby food for your child.
Q. Why are your play sessions timed?
A. To ensure the comfort and safety of everyone at Lets Explore, we offer two-hour timed sessions, seven days a week.
This method of booking means we are never in danger of exceeding our capacity, ensuring a better experience for all our guests
